Turkey fillet alla Thailand sounds delicious (peanut butter, coconut milk and curry pasta); so does the integral penne (zucchini, corn, garlic, peppers, tomatoes and parsley), and integral fettuccini with octopus (cherry tomatoes, caper, basil and parsley). Or maybe the pork fillet with apples, and salmon alla piergiovanni (salmon fillet, rice penne, zucchini and eggplant)?
Still, after much deliberation, we ordered the chicken alla Hennessey: tender chicken fillet with prawns and the famous cognac, an interesting and very tasty dish further enhanced with a rocket and hard cheese salad. And while we're on the subject of salads, take note of several interesting versions offered here: avocado with goat cheese, carrot and apple salad, salad alla France (goat cheese, apples, potatoes, walnuts, lemon juice, rocket and dressing), octopus salad (octopus, rocket, green beans, caper, anchovies and dressing), beet and carrot salad, cabbage with apples, beefsteak salad...
Besides food, Pane e Vino is known for its quality Italian wines: red, white or rose, served by the bottle, glass and even in half liter flagons, which is a pleasant surprise when you consider the price-quality ratio.
In the end, even though you've just dined in the strict city center, your bill will be yet another pleasant surprise.
