Although relatively short, the menu is full of imaginative suggestions, and there's also a daily menu which turned out to be the best choice at the time of our visit.
After a shot of quince brandy and portion of pastries served with a tasty cheese and vegetable spread, we sampled the broccoli pottage and then continued with more substantial specialties: chicken filled with gorgonzola and pears - a tasty, tender and absolutely refreshing dish. Another good choice is pepper beefsteak served over mashed potatoes, with a scoop of spinach. The sauce is mildly spicy, the meat succulent and well-prepared.
Little Bay is also known for its live music program every evening of the week, from jazz and bossa nova to opera (the daytime is reserved for evergreen classical music).
